Smartphones keep evolving, but that evolution is typically unequal. Not every component gets upgraded to the same degree, and often we see OEMs pedal back on certain features or hardware in order to achieve lower price-points or accommodate for newer, flashier new functionality.
We also upgrade from one brand to the next, and we often land on phones with smaller battery capacity, bigger screens, worse cameras, etc. So it's likely that your phone is not a thorough upgrade over your previous one — and even if it is, there's usually a at least a tiny thing your old phone did better. So we ask you,
What's something your old phone did better than your current one? What's much better on your new phone than the one before? What is your most/least favorite part about the upgrade? Where do you think the difference stems from?
